 Silverthorn Amateur Radio Club is not currently offering courses or exams but members are keen to support anyone on their journey to becoming a licensed amateur.  Exams may now be taken on-line, on demand during any month by contacting the RSGB. Anyone who would like advice on the subject matter of the exams may ask members during our regular Friday evening meetings.

The club meets every Friday evening at 8pm at Friday Hall, 56 Friday Hill East, Chingford, London, E4 6JT.  It has excellent facilities including its own shack with a work bench. Under the call sign G2HR, members may operate the radio equipment which has permanent antennas. This Call Sign can also be heard during contests, special events and over the weekend of the annual club camp each summer.

Friday Hall is fully accessible with local on-street car parking, plus a bus service. 

Visitors and new members are always welcome, so why not visit Silverthorn Radio Club any Friday evening. Take the opportunity to use the club equipment, discuss radio and have the opportunity to help with operating and assisting other amateurs.
